Generalities of the tourist guide service
- This document has the character of a contract and regulates the terms and conditions of the client with respect to the services contracted by Machu Picchu Guide.
- No other agent than Machu Picchu Guide, has the ability to modify, restrict or expand the terms of this contract.
- By booking the tour , the Client accepts the terms and conditions of this document.
About the actors
- MACHU PICCHU GUIDE. Brand and virtual platform of MACHU PICCHU TERRA SRL, Travel and Tourism Agency, is an official tourism agency authorized by the Ministry of Culture of Peru with registration MA0473.
- CLIENT . This is the natural or legal person who takes advantage of the various tourist services offered by MACHU PICCHU GUIDE.
About the terms of service
- The Machu Picchu Guide website (guiamachupicchu.com) is a website that offers visits to the various tourist attractions of Cusco and Machu Picchu with the company of a professional tour guide in group or private services.
- Machu Picchu Guide, through its website and social networks, will make its best efforts to keep the Client informed and meet their requirements as safely and efficiently as possible.
- The Machu Picchu Guide virtual platform provides several means of contact such as email (info@machupicchuterra.com), WhatsApp ((+51) 982 108 083 / (+51) 994 349 441) or telephone (51) 84 207064 to maintain adequate communication with the Client.
- In addition, Machu Picchu Guide on its web platform, in whose Blog, section , offers a large amount of very useful information for the Client about the different tourist attractions of Machu Picchu and Cusco.
About the purchasing process
- The Client can use the Machu Picchu Guide virtual platform from anywhere in the world to make their reservation online.
- In order to purchase any of our services, the Client must have an email address, to which the reservation form, payment invoice and payment confirmation will be sent. In addition, email is the main means of clarifying queries and resolving any conflict that may arise before, during and after the service.
- To complete the purchase process, the Client must fill out the reservation form available on the Machu Picchu Guide website. To complete the required fields on the reservation form, the Client must do so with the data that appears on a valid official identification document from their place of origin, for example: Passport, DNI, personal identification documents, foreigner’s card, etc. In addition, they must register necessary information such as the hotel or AIRBNB, for pick-up on the day of the service.
- Once the reservation has been sent, the information will be verified and a payment form will be generated, according to the chosen payment method. Once the client has made the payment for the total amount issued, Machu Picchu Guide will proceed to send the receipt by email (check inbox and spam folder). This completes the purchase process.
- The Client must only present himself at the meeting point (group service) or in the lobby of his hotel (private service) with the other tourists on the day of his visit.
About payment terms
- Machu Picchu Guided Tours shows their prices and discounts on our website.
- The Client can pay for their reservation using the following completely secure payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club or PayPal.
- Payment must be made online at 100% of the service price.

About the tour guide service
- Once the payment has been made by the Client, a payment receipt with the details of the tour guide service purchased will be sent to the email address provided by the Client.
- Once the Client has received confirmation of the service, he/she must verify that the data (date of visit, names, passport or identity document number, etc.) are correct.
- The services offered on our web platform specialize in private tour guide services in the various tourist attractions of Machu Picchu and Cusco.
- All guides are professionals in the tourism sector. Machu Picchu Guide is a brand of Machupicchu Terra, a tour operator agency with more than ten years of experience in the tourism sector of Peru.
About changes to the private tour guide service
- Machu Picchu Guide only makes changes and modifications to the tour guide services purchased at www.guiamachupicchu.com.
- Possible changes to private services include: the names of tourists, the date of travel, the service schedule or the language.
- Machu Picchu Guide only makes any type of modification within a period of no less than 3 business days before the day of service.
- The change of service proceeds after making an additional payment to complete the actual cost of the new service.
- Modifications are made at the request of the Client by means of a request sent via email to info@machupicchuterra.com.
- Any information that has been entered incorrectly by Machu Picchu Guide may be rectified free of charge and only at the request of the Client.

- Changes are subject to the following penalty:
- Penalty for service changes: 10% penalty on the initial payment amount.
About changes to the group tour guide service
- Machu Picchu Guide only makes changes and modifications to the tour guide services purchased at www.guiamachupicchu.com.
- Possible changes to group services are: the names of tourists, the date of travel, the service schedule or the language.
- Machu Picchu Guide only makes any type of modification within a period of no less than 3 business days before the day of service.
- The change of service proceeds after making an additional payment to complete the actual cost of the new service.
- Modifications are made at the request of the Client by means of a request sent via email to info@machupicchuterra.com.
- Any information that has been entered incorrectly by Machu Picchu Guide may be rectified free of charge and only at the request of the Client.

About cancellations and refunds of private tour guide service
- Machu Picchu Guide only makes changes and modifications to the tour guide services purchased at www.guiamachupicchu.com.
- Cancellations of the private tour guide service are subject to the Client’s request by sending an email to info@machupicchuterra.com no less than 3 days before the travel date.
- Cancellation refunds will be made within a maximum of 48 hours before the travel date. The refund will be made using the same payment method that the visitor used for payment.
- The payment gateway (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.) determines the time in which your money will appear in your bank account. This time is approximately 1 month.
- Last minute cancellations are not accepted.
- If the information has been entered incorrectly by Machu Picchu Guide, the Client may rectify the information or request cancellation at no cost and on a one-time basis.

- Cancellation of the private tour guide service has a single penalty:
- Penalty for cancellation of service: penalty of 25% of the value of the service (75% refund).
About cancellations and refunds of group tour guide service
- Machu Picchu Guide only makes changes and modifications to the tour guide services purchased at www.guiamachupicchu.com.
- Cancellations of the group tour guide service are subject to the request of the Client by sending an email to info@machupicchuterra.com no less than 3 days before the date of the service.
- Cancellation refunds will be made within a maximum of 48 hours before the travel date. The refund will be made using the same payment method that the visitor used for payment.

About confidentiality of information
- Machu Picchu Guide ensures the confidentiality of the data entered by the Client at the time of making their reservation; as well as the data provided in the payment transaction and the documents sent by email. This information will be used solely and exclusively to properly perform the tourist service. All visitor information is completely secure.
About the release of liability
- Machu Picchu Guide is not responsible if the data provided by the Client is not the same as the passport or identity document registered in the reservation.
- Machu Picchu Guide has no control over weather events, natural disasters or social conflicts that could prevent your arrival in Cusco to carry out your tourist services. In these situations, changes and cancellations are governed by our Terms and Conditions.
- Machu Picchu Guide is not responsible for the deterioration, partial or total loss of your luggage during the execution of the services.
- Machu Picchu Guide is not responsible for any delays of the Client when providing their tour guide service in Cusco or Machu Picchu.
- The Client who is unable to carry out his/her tourist service and does not communicate in a timely manner or carry out any procedure will lose all rights to his/her service, and no refund will be made by Machu Picchu Guide.
